Philippine Ski and Snowboard Federation, Inc. (PSSF) is the governing body for snow sports for the Philippines. Yes, there is no snow in the Philippines but our athletes come from the over 10 million Filipinos living abroad especially from the United States, Canada, and Europe.
PSSF has been a member of FIS (Federacion Internacionale de Ski [FIS]) – the world governing body) since 1971. We participates in 4 of the 6 disciplines under the FIS, namely alpine skiing, freestyle, snowboarding and roller skiing.
Currently, our dual citizen athletes and coaches come from United States, Canada, Austria, Finland, and Switzerland. We are the only country, without snow, that consistently send snowboarders and skiers to the World Cup, World Championships and Olympic Games for the last 15 years.
